Small-team office lunch
Catering for 10: a proper lunch without the over-order.
Catering for 10 people in Sydney does not need a 100-piece event box. If empanadas are the main meal, start with 30 to 40 for 10 adults; alongside other substantial food, plan 20 to 30. Then choose baked catering or a frozen order according to the kitchen, dietary mix and timing.

Chef's Box
20 frozen empanadas. Useful alongside other substantial dishes, but not a complete empanada-only lunch for 10 adults.

Party Box
60 empanadas with current formats on the product page. Consider only if your group and wider plan need that quantity; a smaller tailored order may be more suitable.
Explore Party BoxDecide what the lunch actually includes
Ten people meeting over sandwiches and empanadas need a different quantity from ten people expecting empanadas to be lunch. Count everything substantial on the table before choosing the pack size. Dessert, drinks and a few leaves do not automatically make a small savoury order into a full meal.
Use three to four empanadas per adult as a starting point for a main meal, or two to three alongside other substantial food. These are planning ranges, not a promise that every appetite is identical. Our empanadas-per-person guide explains when to increase the total.
Three ways to feed a ten-person team
| Lunch plan | Starting quantity | Decision to make |
|---|---|---|
| Empanadas alongside substantial dishes | 20 to 30 | Count the rest of the menu |
| Empanadas as the main lunch | 30 to 40 | Confirm appetites and dietary mix |
| Meal plus a separate later gathering | Quote each occasion separately | Do not treat leftovers as a guaranteed second meal |
The Chef's Box contains 20 frozen empanadas. For an empanada-led lunch, check the current four-pack and twelve-pack range for additions, or ask for a tailored baked order. Check what each mixed box contains rather than assuming every flavour on the site is included.
The 60-piece Party Box and 100-piece Corporate Box are not the default answer to a ten-person lunch. They may be useful for a larger event, but the correct decision starts with quantity and format. Current prices, ingredients and available product options are on the product pages.
An office with no oven needs a different order
A frozen lunch only works if someone can prepare it. Check the equipment, tray space, preparation time and person responsible. An air fryer may suit small batches but can create a serving bottleneck for a whole team. Follow the current flavour-specific cooking instructions rather than applying one setting to every flavour.
If there is no suitable kitchen, enquire about baked catering. Confirm the event date, postcode and serving time before ordering; a product being listed online does not guarantee a particular delivery window. The no-kitchen planning guide helps you make that choice.
Get the dietary count before the flavour vote
Ask about dietary requirements first, then decide how many of the suitable options to reserve. The Classic is vegetarian and Patagonia is vegan. Check individual ingredient information and discuss allergies with Argentum before ordering. Argentum does not produce gluten-free empanadas. Larger halal catering requests need separate confirmation.
For a small team, one person's requirement can affect a meaningful part of the order. Label or identify reserved portions before sharing starts, so the person who needs a particular option is not left with whatever remains.
Keep the building instructions short and complete
Include the business name, street entrance, floor or suite and receiving contact. Mention any loading or lift restrictions. Agree when the team will eat and ensure somebody can receive the food. For a North Sydney office, use the North Sydney catering page; for a smaller Neutral Bay shop pickup, browse the current shop menu and confirm any larger order needs separately.
When the team grows, change the calculation
If visitors turn ten into twenty, do not keep the same order and assume it will stretch. Use the 20-person catering guide for the larger headcount. For a recurring team lunch, the office catering guide covers the broader planning workflow.
Ask for a ten-person lunch recommendation
Send the date, 10-person headcount, postcode, food time, dietary counts, other dishes and whether an oven is available. Tell us whether the meal is a casual team lunch or a client meeting. Argentum will confirm a suitable order and the practical details; no fixed notice period or delivery promise is implied here.
