Can I order pre-baked for the picnic?

Yes. Pre-baked delivery means no prep on the day. Pack them into a cooler bag and head straight to the park.

How long will they stay good at room temperature?

Baked empanadas are great at room temperature for up to 3 to 4 hours. Keep them in a cool bag if the weather is hot.

Can I reheat them on a portable BBQ?

Yes. A few minutes on a warm plate or wrapped in foil near the coals works well.

Do you deliver directly to parks?

Standard orders go to your home or pickup address. For larger outdoor events or community pop-ups, we can arrange direct delivery to a park entrance. Contact us.

What's the best box for a picnic?

The Chef's Box (20) for 6 to 10 people. The Treat Box (36 plus Franuí dessert) for a full picnic spread. Use the calculator above for specific counts.

Can I add salads for the picnic?

Yes. We make fresh salads in-house, packed in chilled containers. Perfect for an outdoor meal that doesn't need cutlery.

What about vegan picnic options?

Patagonia is vegan with signature green dough and The Classic is vegetarian. Argentum does not offer gluten-free empanadas. Custom event quotes may discuss externally sourced gluten-free items, with a wheat cross-contact disclaimer.

How much notice do you need?

Timing depends on the event date, group size, delivery point and service format. Contact Argentum with the details and the team will confirm availability.

The perfect picnic food

Made for the outdoors.

Picnic food has three jobs. Travel well, eat without cutlery, and taste as good at room temperature as it does warm. Most things fail at least one. Sandwiches go soggy. Salads wilt. Cheese boards melt in the sun. Empanadas tick all three boxes. Handheld, individually portioned, excellent hot or room temp, and they pack into a cooler bag without drama.

We deliver them delivered baked, ready to pack. They hold warm for around 90 minutes in insulated bags, then keep perfectly well at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours. Load them into a picnic basket, head to Centennial Park, Balmoral, Bondi, Cockatoo Island, or wherever the afternoon takes you. Pair with our fresh salads for a proper spread, or just serve them on a platter with a bottle of wine.

Born in Bondi Beach from recipes Pedro's grandma perfected over fifty years. Grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, proper cheeses, a fully vegan Patagonia with signature green dough. Argentum does not offer gluten-free empanadas. For larger custom events, externally sourced gluten-free items may be discussed. Our kitchen handles wheat and cross-contact risk remains. Real food, properly portable.
