How last-minute catering works

“Last-minute” does not have to mean generic food. It means working with the stock, prep time and delivery window that are genuinely available. Some same-day requests can be accommodated. Others need a little more notice. A 48-hour lead time gives us the best chance to confirm your preferred format, flavour mix and timing.

For a fast answer, include your guest count, event date and time, whether you need baked or frozen empanadas, any dietary requirements, and the delivery postcode. We will check capacity before confirming the order.

Same-day catering, subject to confirmation

Same-day catering is not a standard guarantee. When it is possible, it depends on kitchen capacity, available stock and the practical delivery or pre-arranged pickup window. Contact us rather than relying on a checkout assumption.

• Frozen empanadas: may be the most flexible option for short notice, ready for you to bake at home or at the venue.
• Baked or fried catering: can be considered when capacity allows. We will confirm the available format and timing with you.
• Large events: are best arranged with 48 hours or more, especially where a specific delivery time, flavour mix or dietary discussion is involved.

48-hour catering options in Sydney

With 48 hours, we can plan a clearer service around your group size. The boxes below are useful starting points. We will confirm availability, format and delivery based on your event.

Party Box

The Party Box contains 60 empanadas. Choose frozen at $279, or baked at $319 where confirmed. It is a strong starting point for shared occasions, team lunches and events.

Corporate Box

The Corporate Box contains 100 baked empanadas for $499. It suits office catering, launches and larger gatherings. Chimichurri is included with the Corporate Box.

Dietary requirements

Patagonia is the vegan empanada in Argentum’s five-flavour core range. For large custom catering, we can discuss halal options and externally sourced gluten-free sides or desserts. Argentum does not offer gluten-free empanadas, and the kitchen handles wheat, so gluten cross-contact cannot be ruled out.

Delivery and pre-arranged pickup

Delivery eligibility, timing and minimums are calculated by postcode at checkout. Standard delivery is $10 in normal delivery zones. We also offer pre-arranged pickup in Bondi Beach and Waverley. For any short-notice event, contact us first so we can confirm the workable option.

3. Choose the format. Frozen, baked or fried in beef tallow for catering, subject to confirmation.

Forty-eight hours gives the widest choice and the best chance of securing your preferred format, flavour mix and timing. Shorter notice may still be possible, but it must be confirmed first.

No. For large custom catering, we can discuss externally sourced gluten-free sides or desserts. Because the kitchen handles wheat, gluten cross-contact cannot be ruled out.

How much is delivery?
