How many empanadas per guest for a World Cup match?

Plan on 4 to 6 empanadas per guest if empanadas are the main food. Plan on 2 to 3 per guest if you are serving alongside a picada board, salad, or other dishes. Fried in beef tallow

The market and event format. Empanadas fried in beef tallow taste closer to what you would get at a street stall in Buenos Aires. How far in advance should I book Argentina match catering?

Standard lead time is 48 hours for any catering order. For Argentina knockouts and the final on 19 July, we recommend 5 to 7 days. Kitchen capacity tightens before high-demand matches and we will close to new orders 24 to 48 hours before a peak window once we reach capacity.

The practical rule: as soon as you know the date, place the order. Fixtures roll forward through the tournament; if Argentina move into the knockouts, every subsequent match has a tighter booking window. Frozen options give you more flexibility because you can stock up between matches and bake on the day.
