How does empanada delivery work in Sydney?
Every empanada is folded in our Bondi Beach kitchen and delivered frozen, ready to bake at home in under 25 minutes. For events and catering, we deliver them baked fresh, timed to your event.
We don't use third-party couriers for most retail deliveries. We deliver in-house, on a scheduled route that runs across Sydney. That's why you'll see specific delivery days when you enter your postcode at checkout. Frozen by default keeps the texture intact: thawed-and-reheated empanadas are a different product, and not the one we want to send.
How much does delivery cost?
The delivery fee is a flat $10 to most Sydney metro addresses. That covers the Eastern Suburbs, CBD, Inner West, Northern Beaches including Manly, North Shore, and out to the wider metro including Parramatta and Mascot.
A few things to know:

- Further-out areas may be slightly higher depending on distance. The checkout will tell you.

We deliver on a scheduled route. Close areas (Eastern Suburbs, CBD) are on the route multiple days a week. Wider metro areas (Parramatta, Mascot, Inner West, Manly, South West, and further-out suburbs) are mostly on Wednesdays, our big metro delivery day.

For most retail orders (12-packs, Chef's Box, Family Box), we aim for next-day delivery within the close areas if you order early and your address is on that day's route.

If you're local, pickup is free and available most days by appointment. It's the quickest way to get empanadas in your freezer and the easiest way to skip delivery fees and minimum orders.
Because we're a production kitchen and not a retail shopfront, pickup runs on pre-arranged slots. To book:

Do you deliver on weekends?
Saturday is our markets day at Bondi Farmers Market (Bondi Public School, 9am to 1pm), so retail delivery is limited. Sunday delivery is generally not part of the standard route, but custom catering deliveries on weekends are possible for events. For weekend delivery, use the contact form.
Can I order baked, ready to serve?
Yes, for events and catering. We deliver our Party Box and Corporate Box baked fresh, timed to your event. Most retail 12-packs ship frozen, but for catering we bake on the day. See the full catering range for event orders.
What if I'm not home when delivery arrives?
For apartment or office deliveries, leave a buzzer code, concierge instruction, or reception contact at checkout. For houses, a note about safe-drop works. Our driver will call before arrival in most cases. If a delivery is missed, we'll reach out to rebook the closest available slot.
Do you offer contactless delivery?
Yes. Leave a drop-off note at checkout (front door, side gate, reception, concierge) and we'll deliver to that exact spot. Empanadas arrive frozen in insulated packaging, so a short wait at the door is fine. Just get them into the freezer when you can.
Do you deliver outside Sydney?
Not currently. Everything is made in Bondi Beach and delivered in-house to maintain quality. For interstate orders or anything outside our regular route, use the contact form and we'll see what's possible.
